08 00 Departure from Pine Bay Holiday Resort by private bus to the Mugla Province.
10 30 Visit to Mugla University.
12 00-13 00 Lunch at Mugla University.
13 30-14 00 Check in at hotel in Akyaka (Gokova).
14 00-17 00 Boat trip to Gokova Bays, a specially protected area, which is among the most
pristine and scenic in the Mediterranean. Sight seeing and swimming.
17 00-18 00 Visit to Sedir Island and the legendary Cleopatra Beach, which is the only ooid
beach in Turkey and claimed to be one of the earliest artificial beaches created on
the orders of Marcus Antonious as a wedding gift to the Egyptian Quinn
Cleopatra. Swimming and visiting the Roman anfitheatre and other ruins on the
island.
19 00 Back to the hotel
20 00-22 00 Dinner offered by the Rector of Mugla University.
22 30 Back to the hotel for the night.

08 30 Departure from Akyaka to Dalyan by private bus.
10 00-12 00 Bus trip to the MEDHOUSE and the Iztuzu Beach – a famed turtle breeding beach.
12 30 Check in at hotel in Dalyan.
12 30-13 30 Lunch at the hotel.
13 30-14 15 Lecture with slides on the history of nature conservation in Dalyan and environs
This will be by Prof. Erdal Özhan. For over 25 years, he has been associated with Dalyan both professionally and as a conservationist.
14 30-18 45 Boat trip to the ancient city of Kaunos, Dalyan lagoons and wetlands plus the
Dalyanagzi Beach (a very beautiful spit of medium grain sized sand).
19 30 Back in the hotel.
FREE NIGHT IN DALYAN (a small cosy holiday resort with fine restaurants,
cafes and bars).

Transfers to Dalaman International Airport.
Departures from Dalaman International Airport to your home airport via Istanbul.

Cost per person is 135 Euro (including bus and boat trips, hotel accommodation in double rooms, transfers to Dalaman International Airport, all meals except the dinner in Dalyan on October 31). Single supplement is 25 Euro.
