WIND & DEEP WATER WAVE ATLAS FOR TURKISH COAST

The atlas, which is the product of the intensive efforts since 1992 and a comprehensive research project supported by NATO Science for Stability Program, Phase 3, provides the statistical properties of wind and deep water waves along the Turkish coast (Black Sea, Sea of Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean) with a spatial resolution of about 25 km. Annual and seasonal wind and wave roses, monthly averaged representative values for the wind speed and the wave height, the scatter diagrams of the significant wave height and the mean wave period, design wind speeds and the deep water significant wave heights for various return periods are presented in the atlas. The 445-page atlas is printed using 135-gram bright glossy paper. The price of the publication is EURO 600 plus postage.
